The next meeting of the History Society will look at the impact of the Flight ofthe Earls. Speaker will Dr Eamonn O’Ciardha from the University of Ulster at Magee.

Following the talk there will be a book launch and signing of the recently published book of articles on the -

Flight of the Earls – Imeacht na nIarlaí.

Take a trip down memory lane with the Strabane History Society’s illustrated talk about the Strabane shops from the 1950s and 1960s. The talk was presented in 2006 by Michael Kennedy and details the town’s shops, adverts and trade directory at that time.
