Location
Strabane (An Srath Bán in Irish meaning The White Strand) is located in the north west of Ireland. There are approximately 20,000 people living in the whole district. It is the second largest town in Co. Tyrone after Omagh. It lies east to the River Foyle which divides Northern Ireland with the Republic of Ireland. The River Mourne runs through the centre of Strabane to meet up with the River Finn which both flow into the River Foyle.
